American Robin

The American Robin has been described as "America's favorite songbirds" and its arrival in northern lattitudes in the back yard along with its loud, musical voice make it one of the most recognizable birds in North America.  It has a huge range and has the ability to live in both natural and anthropogenic habitats with a large diet from which to choose including earthworms and other invertebrates to mostly fruit in autumn and winter.
