Bald Eagle

32 x 48", acrylic

The Bald Eagle is the Order of Falconiformes.  Listening to the Bald Eagle's vocalization was disappointing.  It is a surprising voice when one views this magnificent bird of prey with its strong feet, legs, and broad wings built for soaring.  Its fierce look alone precludes its weak song.  While three distinctive calls have been identified when humans approach a nest, they are identified as a peal, high-pitched, long, and gull-like only.  Other descriptions are weak and insignificant in volume.
